The customer
Founded and managed by Antoine Marquais in 2012, Dock 79 is a multi-activity leisure park located in Saint-Ghislain, Belgium, in a natural, protected setting. The park aims to democratize access to sport by bringing together atypical disciplines on a single site.
Dock 79 offers fun activities for the whole family or just a few friends: the Aquapark for swimming, climbing, jumping and sliding over a dozen XXL obstacles; 11 tree climbing courses for all levels to enjoy a breathtaking view of the forest and, above all, a good dose of adrenalin; various tree climbing sites to awaken your knowledge of our environment; and a Nautical Teleski and Trampoline Park!
Dock 79 offers courses, internships, birthday parties, privatizations, afterworks and unique corporate events combining escape and cohesion.
Whether you fancy a cold beer with colleagues after Padel or a good meal before a family activity, La Sablière has something for everyone, with a modern brasserie serving delicious dishes and offering a breathtaking view of the lake and its riders!
Difficulties before Guidap
Dock 79 has been working with Guidap since 2021. They had previously subscribed to another solution for a year, a software package that didn't suit them because it was too "home-made".
Before Guidap, Dock 79 spent a lot of time on site managing customer bookings, cancellations, staff schedules, etc.
On top of this time-consuming schedule management, Antoine Marquais was spending too much time at work on weekends, had too little time off, and didn't have enough time for his personal life.

Guidap came up with a turnkey solution which, according to Antoine Marquais, was really perfect for what he wanted to do. Today, the founder of Dock 79 uses Guidap for all his activities.
With the pandemic, customers switched to an online booking model, which was previously neither in use nor in the mindset of wake parks. Guidap's introduction of online booking has enabled Dock 79 to increase its sales: customers are now obliged to book and pay online. Customers also see the benefits, as they are guaranteed a spot.
Dock 79 also adapted Guidap for their restaurant: with limited terrace space, they needed to be in control. Thanks to Guidap, they have now set up 1h30 slots per table.
The benefit? From a personnel management point of view, Antoine has cut his workforce in half. Having slots with defined times means he can anticipate rush times, which in this case will only last half an hour. Antoine now knows that he needs to schedule staff for specific times, and can allocate other resources to other assignments. All in all, this means he can manage his staff more effectively.
Antoine Marquais would sum up Guidap's benefits in two words: optimization and control.
