A number of Guidap software updates were released in July, so here's the rundown!
Improved T&C management
- The " I accept the terms and conditions of sale" box now includes a link to the GTC page hosted on Guidap.
- If the establishment already hosts its T&Cs outside Guidap, it is possible to enter the link to the T&Cs in [Settings > Establishment info]. The consumer will then be redirected to the correct terms and conditions.
Improved Analytics tracking on the shopping cart
You can follow in more detail all the purchasing stages that the consumer goes through when buying on your website. Here are the stages followed:
- Login : The customer visits your website.
- Product display: The customer has clicked on the "Book" button.
- Add to basket: The customer has added something to his basket.
- Payment initiated: The customer has seen the payment form.
- Purchase: The customer has paid.
This enhancement enables you to better understand your user's journey, thus increasing your conversion rate and therefore your revenues.
This feature requires Guidap Payments.
Improved Guide management
When a guided activity is added to the shopping cart by an online consumer, Guidap blocks the Guide resource for 15 minutes to ensure availability.
We are now displaying this information so that you can understand why the Guide is assigned to the time slot even though the booking has not yet been finalized.
Fixed a bug in the weekly schedule: some departures containing reservations were displayed empty when several departures were clicked in succession.
Quote
To make it easier for your customers to read your quotations, you can now display the words "Including VAT" in the Unit price and Sub-total columns.
To activate the option: Click on " Show VAT column " in the quote configuration.
Improved use of promotional codes
It is now possible to use the specific character / in promotional codes.
To activate the option: Click on " Show VAT column " in the quote configuration.
Enhanced shopping experience
Whenever possible, Guidap first loads the activity details before loading the whole list of activities, so as to more quickly address the content that interests the consumer.
Fixed a bug: The link to the T&Cs page was too large and users sometimes clicked on the link by mistake instead of checking the checkbox.
Google Calendar
Fixed a bug: when a user removed the " Add to schedule " option before validating the quote, no event was recreated in Google Calendar.
